Basic knowledge of Foundation Paper Piecing is expected for the Classic Star quilt block pattern. The pattern is clearly labeled and includes a 1/4" seam allowance plus a few tips to get you going.

Note: As with most other designers' FPP patterns, fabric cutting instructions are not included in my FPP Patterns. After all, one of the benefits of FPP is that you don't need to spend time accurately cutting out all the shapes! Instead, I take a scrap or snip off a piece of fabric that generously covers the segment I'm sewing and then trim off the excess after it's sewn on.
